As sure you have read or seen in other media, the castings start for the second edition of Junior MasterChef with a deadline to submit applications until July 18 2014. The objective is to find new contestants from anywhere in Spain between 8 and 12 years those who are guaranteed a millionaire audience on television with an average of 3.5 million viewers and an 18% screen share.
Spanish Television is looking for children between 8 and 12 years old who feel true passion for cooking and show creativity, imagination, ease and ease to develop their dishes. As in the previous edition, the little chefs will face adult tests, with recipes and challenges that will show that to cook little matters the age. Last year, Mario, Ana Luna, Juan, Esther, Aimar and the rest of their classmates revolutionized the kitchens and showed that Children can also be great chefs. As you can see in the picture they had a great time playing and cooking for Jordi, Pepe and Samantha.
The first edition of Junior MasterChef, a recording that was broadcast on Christmas 2013 in La 1 and that was presented by Eva González, was a success, with 3.5 million viewers and an 18% average screen share. The final, in which Mario, 12 years old and who can be seen in the image in full operation, conquered the jury and the public and reached 4.4 million spectators and a 21.7% share.
As we know, the contest power for the little ones to live the kitchen in an exciting, positive and fun way while learning and having fun. It also encourages learning about food and healthy habits. In the process they are helped by the three members of the MasterChef jury who in the first edition adapted very well to the characteristics of the kids.
