Recipes for the whole family. Tacos of prawns, minestrone, sweet potato cakes and coconut cookies

One more week, like every Thursday, we bring you a new entry for our section of Recipes for the whole family with ideas for children to eat varied, try new things and ours, food that may not taste regularly and could be missing.

They are recipes made by our companions of Direct to the Palate and Vitónica and today we will have magnificent recipes of dish and some desserts to give a little variety (and make you grow the bug of wanting to get into the kitchen to make them).

First

  • Milanese minestrone recipe: a cooking classic. The most complicated part of this recipe is to prepare all the ingredients. Once the vegetables are clean and chopped, making this dish is just a matter of patience so that it is gradually done.

  • Zucchini cream with candied shallots and goat cheese: healthy recipe. Who doesn't fancy a comforting vegetable cream on the cold autumn and winter nights? In summer the fresh spooning feels great, but for me there is nothing like a light and healthy dinner based on good vegetables.

  • Cream of cauliflower with Gruyère toast: Cauliflower is a vegetable that everyone does not like and however we should include in our diet for its good properties. By preparing it this way, its flavor together with the rest of the ingredients becoming softer, making it easier for most to like.

Seconds

  • Baked mullets: Rock mullet is a fish with an intense flavor and much appreciated in the kitchen. This species is highly valued, and although its price is not low especially in these dates, it makes up for it with its excellent flavor and firm and white flesh.

  • Tuna, tomato and egg cannelloni: a recipe for those of "a lifetime". There have always been recipes from my mother who, on special occasions, have had a generous welcome. One of them was the tuna, tomato and egg cannelloni that I prepared every year on the birthday of one of my sisters. Although my mother knew very well what we were going to answer, she always asked us what we wanted to eat that day.

  • Spicy shrimp tacos with avocado and tahini sauce. It is as simple as marinating shrimp for a while in a mixture of spicy spices, mixing them with a few more ingredients, preparing a quick sauce and turning it into stuffed with tacos or burritos. In this case I have mixed several nationalities in terms of inspiration, but the truth is that Japanese shichimi togarashi combines very well with creamy avocado enriched with sesame paste. If you have hummus instead of tahini, you can use it as a substitute.

Sweet zone

  • White chocolate panna cotta with raspberry and basil coulis: to look good without too much effort, this dessert is one of the ones you should have on the agenda.
  • Sweet potato and anise cakes: a traditional recipe, with a Christmas flavor that will delight everyone.
  • Coconut and blueberry jam cookies: a simple recipe for delicious cookies for these holidays.

  • Winter salad with dried fruits, pomegranate and orange: because not always desserts have to be loaded with calories, here you have a delicious dessert, typical of these dates and therefore with seasonal products.

* Sweet wine and lemon cake: I don't know what the biscuits will have but they are sweet that they lose me. That's why I'm always trying new recipes and taking note of tricks to make them more fluffy, light and tasty.

And that's all for today. Enjoy these recipes very much and don't forget that next Thursday we will return with more ideas For the dishes of the week.
