Analysis: second-class chairs, which one to buy?

I have already made my choice. I have retired my old cart, a noble Graco who has endured the use of two babies but it was time to change it. Then I will tell you why I have changed and in another post I will make an analysis of the pros and cons of the cart that I chose, but first let's see what the alternatives are in the market and what benefits they offer.

The calls senior chairs they are, as the name implies, baby carriages from six months They already know how to sit alone.

For that age we need a maneuverable, compact and lightweight stroller that facilitates the rides, and very important, that fits comfortably in car lifts and luggage, as well as being comfortable for the baby, logically.

I will make a general panning of the chairs that, according to my tastes and needs, are the most convenient.

One of the chairs that by design I like the most is the Quinny Zapp. It is beautiful, light, very maneuverable, it folds well, but it has a great counter: the seat backrest does not recline, very uncomfortable if the baby wants to sleep. In addition, it has been rising in price in recent months reaching 200 euros when a year ago was achieved by 150.

In a similar design style there is the Verita de Britax three-wheel chair also very light (6 kg) and compact that incorporates a reclining position, an advantage over the previous one. Its price, also around 200 euros.

Other quite complete chairs that have very good acceptance are the Maclaren, a firm specialized in second-class chairs. It has several models that start from a basic Volo chair without backrest positions, only for specific occasions starting at 114 euros, to the much more complete Techno XLR 2007 model of 260 euros, which can be used from birth.

Chicco also has a fairly wide line of second-class chairs, but it's not the design that I like the most. The London chair is achieved for a very good price (about 70 euros), it is simple, the design is not a big deal but it looks practical. It has 5 reclining positions, weighs 6 kg and closes like a canoe.

Finally, and this is my choice, I keep the Micralite chair (the one in the photo) that Jané sells in Spain. We talked about her in the blog, but in the streets you can hardly see her. It has a modern design, four wheels (the 2 backs of inflated with air) and what stands out the most is for its bonding system.

It can be really closed with one hand, it folds like a canoe by hiding the front wheels inside the rear ones and it is very flat in addition to standing, that the place where I keep it at home is essential.

The backrest has two positions, one more upright and one more reclined so that the baby can sleep comfortably. The price, a bargain. As I mentioned at the time, you can get through the website of JanéOutlet for 100 euros plus shipping but you can not choose color.

In another post I will analyze it further and discuss its advantages and disadvantages.
