A black baby stars in the controversial announcement of chocolate cupcakes

Lately, the announcement of the Conguitos is seen as politically incorrect, those indigenous blacks who dance asking to be eaten because they are "required." Well, this has not been very funny either chocolate ad in which a black baby appears.

The funny baby who appears in the advertising campaign is the son of two employees of one of the bakeries of the Raddatz franchise in Namibia. They were delighted that their offspring starred in this campaign of cupcakes called "chocolate dreams." Little did they imagine what would happen when the announcement crossed borders ...

As soon as the advertising of the product has been exhibited in Germany, a wave of protests has awakened because customers consider him "racist" and "pedophile", as can be read in several graffiti.

It was this weekend in the German town of Gröditz, about 60 kilometers north of the Saxon capital of Dresden, when the "bad taste" of the advertising campaign began to be discussed. The comments degenerated into discussions and shouts with the saleswomen, who tried to prevent some exalted people from destroying the posters.

Through social networks, protests have spread over German cities where Raddatz has branches, and several stores have been destroyed, telephone threats have occurred and the boycott affects all its products.

The spokesperson for the family business, Christoph Raddatz, without committing to withdraw the announcement, explained that they are not racist and that the clash comes from such different cultures:

Maybe some customer has found the advertising campaign inappropriate, but I assure you that we are not a racist company. For years we have participated in social projects in the countries of Africa in which we have a commercial presence and in which we are very committed. This same photograph has been exhibited in our stores in Namibia and there has not hit anyone. It is a difference of cultural perception.

I spin it and I don't know if this ad is politically correct or not, It seems right to me from the moment the parents agree that their baby star in a campaign that has nothing impure, insinuating or racist, in my opinion.

The worst, the signs of intolerance (Precisely those who fight for tolerance?) Before the announcement. We no longer talk about racism (which I don't think there is anywhere) but about education, about respect, about not losing papers and becoming an energetic one.

Especially in a multicultural society like the German one, I am surprised that it reaches these extremes. Who is offended by the ad? Are they white, black, yellow? Do you see ghosts where there are none? Or do I not see ghosts? Would an ad with a white baby have caused something similar announcing cream cakes?

The truth is that the baby that stars in this chocolate cupcake ad is to eat it, and the chocolates I don't even tell you. And if parents are satisfied with their stellar appearance, let's stop seeing ghosts where there aren't any ...
